Covid-19 Update

Our latest information regarding Covid-19 and Bristol Golf Centre

Everyone’s safety is our main priority, and the following guidelines are being implemented to ensure everyone can feel safe and comfortable during their visit. In line with Government guidelines, please wear a face covering when you enter the building to purchase range balls or access to Pirate Bay.

Driving Range Safety Procedures

Personal Hygiene

Please do not visit the centre if you or anyone in your household have any Covid19 symptoms and you have been told to self-isolate.

Arrival

Please purchase range ball tickets from the shop.

No Bookings

We do not take bookings. There are facilities in place that follow social distancing guidelines if there is a queue for bays.

Face Mask

A face mask is required when you enter the building and must be worn until you reach your bay. Face masks do not need to be worn when you are hitting balls.

Social Distancing

Please do your best to stay 2m away from other customers and staff. The bays are 3m apart and can be occupied by up to 2 people. For safety purposes we request no one attends the range as a spectator.

Golf Bags

To reduce the number of contact surfaces and in order to follow Government Guidelines golf bags are not allowed onto the driving range.

Tees

To remove the need for surface contact, the Power Tees have been taken out of operation, and replaced with static tees.

Hand Sanitiser

There is hand sanitiser on the counter outside the shop and on the ball machine.

Club Hire

Irons are available to hire and are disinfected after every use.

Starbucks

Starbucks is open for takeaway drinks. A face mask is required when you enter the building.

Toilets

There are two outside toilets available by Pirate Bay Adventure Golf, and one on the driving range.

Golf Coaching

Individual coaching is available and must be booked in advance. All coaching will follow social distancing guidelines. Please contact your professional to book.

Pirate Bay Safety Procedures

Please purchase putters and balls from the shop.

No Bookings

We do not take bookings. There are facilities in place that follow social distancing guidelines if there is a queue to tee off.

Face Mask

A face mask is required when you enter the building but does not need to be worn when you are outside or playing Pirate Bay.

Social Distancing

Please stay 2m away from other customers and staff. Once you are playing Pirate Bay, only move to the next hole when it is clear.

Equipment

Every ball and putter is disinfected after use.

Contact Areas

To reduce the number of contact surfaces, there are no flags, and holes have been inverted.

Hand Sanitiser

Hand sanitiser is available on the table by the putter drop on Pirate Bay and on the counter outside the shop.

Gloves

One person in every group will be given a pair of gloves before their round so they can be the designated person to operate the rafts and scoops any balls out of the water.

Finish

When you finish your round, please leave your putter at the drop off area so it can be disinfected.

The two outside toilets are open next to Pirate Bay.
